Between beasts Alpha 0.3

Hello to all our dear community! Hope you all are good! BB Alpha v0.3 is out!

What’s new in the game?:

• Prometheus story got finished. just… be careful if you play with headphones at high volume…

• Lily’s story progression

• Ashe’s story progression

• More scenes in the gallery!

Important News!:

• Our DC server now has a “Gamer suggestions” channel where you can express any crazy idea you have for the game! (There are some little rules in there tho, so make sure to read them well!)
• The 40$ patreon tier, “Legendary storyteller” will cease to exist; from now on, this “tier” will be considered as a commission and won’t be a subscription, but a single payment per release. This change was made due to a serious snowball problem that would make the character packs start accumulating,
• Some other minor changes in the patreon tiers got implemented!
• (This change doesn’t apply for Alpha 0.3!!) Due to the absolute disaster we had in the previous build, and considering we already have to upload the game in various sites, unfortunately, we need to announce that the public build will now have a delay of 1 week after the Patreon one. Mainly because we need to put the game through a controlled environment before exposing it to public judgment, and especially before uploading it to so many different places where, in some, it's impossible to re-upload it for error correction reasons (like on f95zone)

Fixes:

• Fixed some translation issues
• Lots of errors got fixed from the passed version

Known problems: 

• Although in the testing stage we polished lots of things, and the final result is good to go, this doesn’t mean the game is perfect. Seems like there may be a couple of bugs that are intrinsically related to corrupted passed savefiles. Still, don’t hesitate to report any weird behaviour, we’ll do a recheck to confirm our suspicions!
• The affection mechanic is gradually becoming a problem. It doesn't really have much use beyond narratively defining some behavior, because by saving files it is possible to skip this small limitation of choosing "purple" or "pink". Also, it practically divides all the stories into something that is "good" and something that is "bad" which makes things predictable and a bit monotonous. We need to think of some kind of solution for this.

What’s coming next?:

• Next character in the roulette is Nora. We are gonna transform part of her story and also polish some stuff as it is quite messy rn. Alpha 0.4 will also include significant progress in her story!
• The implementation of the new “Research database” system! MC has found a unique laptop in the desk of his house. This laptop seems to contain very classified information about very weird creatures. The content of this new “gallery” will be purely narrative, interesting stories and text entries. This system will also be exclusively in our patreon build!
• For next release, EVERY PATREON who has donated at least 20 dollars in total will appear in the credits of our game, all of you are the ones that makes this possible! (If you don’t want you patreon nick to show in the credits for any reason, just write us a DM via patreon!)
